the successful release of the 4 Chicken Invaders games, players can’t
wait for its 5thinstallment. There had been news circulating online
since last year that Chicken Invaders 5: The Paradoxical Paradox will be
released February, 2012. But it turns out that it’s not the actual
release date since the game is still not out until now. There’s no
information on when the latest version of the game will be released.
However, fanatics can be assured that Chicken Invaders 5 is in progress
as it’s already posted on the official page of the game developer,
InterAction Studios. That specific page states that Chicken Invaders 5:
The Paradoxical Paradox is not yet available though players are asked to
check back often to make sure that they will be able to play the game
immediately as soon as it’s out.Chicken Invaders is a series of space shooting game in which the player tries to defend the earth from chicken invasion. The first installment of the game was simply called Chicken Invaders. There are ten waves of chickens that the player must shoot to go to the next level. Eggs are dropped by the chickens, which must be avoided. Each level becomes more difficult to complete, making it more challenging to the player. Various parcels will show up throughout the game. They must be collected as these parcels will add points and allow the player to upgrade his weapon for up to 8 power levels. Missiles can blow the entire waves of chicken, though they are usually hard to collect. This can be a single player or two players game.
Chicken Invaders 2: The Next Wave was the second installment of the game. Like the first game, the player needs to battle 10 waves of chicken on all eleven levels. It can also be played by a single player or by two players. The difference of this game from the first is that weapons can be upgraded up to 11 power levels. The highest weapon power level can be achieved by getting ten power ups. Missiles can be acquired by collecting drumsticks throughout the journey. Christmas Edition was also released for the game in which holly leaves were collected for missiles and instead of dropping eggs, chickens were dropping Christmas balls.
Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk is the third installment of the game. The story of this version starts when the hero saw something flashing behind the sun, while he was headed to Space Burger. He decided to check on what the flashing thing was. He then came across with a giant egg called Yolk Star, which forced him into the black hole. Your mission is to destroy Yolk Star before it conquers the earth. Fight your way through 120 waves of chickens in the 10 levels of the game. There are 30 bonuses that you can get throughout the entire game.
Chicken Invaders 4: Ultimate Omelette is the latest release of the game. Like the previous version, you need to fight 120 waves of chickens this time on 12 levels. The hero must destroy the Egg Canon, which was created by the evil chickens to destroy the earth.
